January 13, 2003Finland's H.I.M. spent most of last week shooting the second video from their upcoming "Love Metal" album with director Stefan Lindfors.
The shoot for the track "Funeral of Hearts" "started with Ville in a rowing boat at the Arctic Ocean in Norway and ended at several outdoor locations near Helsinki," according to the band's official web site. "Everyone was having a great time although the temperatures sometimes dropped to -20 C!
"The final edit will be ready in the first week of February and it should be on your music channels before the planned single release March 17th in Germany and Finland."
Some snapshots from the video shoot are posted at this location.
"Love Metal" is set to be released in April through Supersonic/G.U.N. Records. The video for the first single off the album, titled "Buried Alive by Love", was shot over the Dec. 15-18, 2002 weekend with Bam Margera of "Jackass" fame in the director's chair. Juliette Lewis was the female person in the video, which was filmed at the spectacular Los Angeles Theatre in downtown L.A.
